Franziska: Hi there, I wanted to share with you a quick daily practice that we do here at Basic Bananas that also a lot of our Clever Bunch members have adopted and it’s made a huge impact for them, and also for us, here at Basic Bananas. And that is The Daily Huddle. Now, you may already have heard of this concept, maybe you already are running them. Or maybe you just have no idea what it is, or how to do it. So what I thought I would do is share with you quickly how we do it and with anything, I always think the best thing is to adjust it to how you like to run it and how your team likes to implement a strategy. So the purpose of a Daily Huddle is to realign your teams and to come together and to be super-focused in the day. And generally, it’s good to do them at the beginning of the day to go through what’s coming up in the day, or you can also do beginning and end. It’s better to run them in smaller teams so if you have a larger team you might break your teams up or otherwise what you can then also do is have the team leader run these meetings are only like 15-20 minute long, or you can also rotate who runs the meetings that different people get exposure obviously to running meetings it’s a really great practice for your team members to also gain leadership skills, and how we do it- the tool that we use to run them is Slack because we love Slack as a communication tool but you can do these on Zoom you can do them on WhatsApp, whatever your communication channel is with your team. It’s perfect. And the structure that we use. And again, you adjust this for yourself, the structure that we use is, what is the focus for today so each team member quickly goes through, what’s the focus for today. Secondly, what are any challenges? Is there anything you need help with. And thirdly, are there any other news, and that’s pretty much it. So try them out and try different formats and see what works best for you. Even if you have a team of two members or three members, they’re great. to start the day super aligned, and with focus. We sometimes also use Huddles. Huddles are also good to do standing up first now because a lot of us are working virtually we’re doing them from home, or the home office or from different places. If you are in a place like right now I’m at the headquarters we sometimes do huddles, where we just quickly huddle on a challenge or a question or something we need to solve together, we might huddle three-four team members together and do expanding so we just quickly go bust through it and find solutions and if you would love a huddle on one of our programs, if you would love to talk to one of our team members about joining one of our programs, again, these chats are often 15 minutes, in the beginning, to see where you’re at. And if we have anything to show for you in terms of marketing mentoring, you can send us an email at [email protected]. And also, I’d love to hear how your huddles are going or if you’ve had any experience with huddles and best practices, we’d love to hear from you. Till next time, bye!
