Christo: Hey there! In this video tip, I want to share with you why you need to create ‘Brand Personality‘, why you need to use personality within your brand and within all of your marketing. So brand personality, why do we even create a personality for a brand, well, is a very important thing. Brands like products, services, businesses, they don’t have a personality, right? We give as marketers, a product or brand, a personality, and we market with that personality so that humans create a bond with that brand. Now, because a business doesn’t have a personality, right, we intentionally push personality through every touchpoint of your marketing. So that humans start to connect with it. It’s like, we love our friends because of their personality, right? Or you dislike that person but their families.. or just put up with them because of their personality, you know. the thing we love, our favourite TV shows, because of the character’s personality, or we love an actor’s personality in that movie that they created. You really connect with the personality, right? We do that with brands, and we market that personality, so people start to resonate with the brand, they actually feel like a deeper bond. A lot of the brands that you love and you’re like a raving fan of—think about it, they’ll likely have a pretty strong personality. So as a little bit of homework after this video, think of your brand, as if it were a human if it’s just like a separate entity to you. If it were a human. What’s its personality? What’s it like to be around? What’s it like to interact with? And then you want to get clear on that, not like a hundred different. like characteristics, but just a few different traits, characteristics, and what it’s like to deal with and be around. Maybe what it stands for and what it stands against, so it’s got this kind of personality, and in every single touchpoint even your invoice, every email, every follow-up email. You look to amplify that personality so people resonate with that and then connect with it.
