However, Rebekah‘s and Catherine‘s story of how they quadrupled their business Family Focus Legal is impressive nonetheless.
Nowadays you can hardly scroll through your Facebook feed without seeing yet another “expert” promising to 10x your revenue overnight by buying their products or services.
But as you know, growing a small business is not a walk in the park.
When Rebekah and Catherine made the tough decision to wrap up their previous business and start a new family legal firm, they were never the ones to opt for a miracle solution.
They did have their mind set on doing things differently this time around to grow a sustainable and fun business.
Realising they needed to learn more about marketing to grow the new business, they attended the Blast Off marketing workshop, despite their initial concerns that this might be another one of these workshops where it‘s all talk and no action.
The session turned out to be more than they hoped for. “I was really amazed! The Basic Bananas team gave us so much information, so many practical examples and tangible action steps”, Catherine remembers excitedly.
One of the biggest reasons many small business owners struggle is a lack of planning. That‘s why Rebekah and Catherine felt confident and ready for the next phase of their business when they walked out of the workshop with a clear roadmap and plan for growth.

They started implementing what they learned at Basic Bananas, diving into a world of innovative marketing previously unknown to them. “Our online marketing was pretty much non-existent before we went to the workshop!” Catherine points out.
Applying clever marketing strategies from leading entrepreneurs and putting in the hard yards, their business kept flourishing. “We now really understand what works for us when it comes to marketing”, Catherine explains.
