Franziska: Hey you gorgeous team! Just a really quick tip here from our studio. This morning, I ran a Clever Bunch session and we discussed how to get featured on podcasts because some of our members have done a really good job getting featured and I thought this could be really beneficial for you to hear, too. So getting interviewed or featured or doing a presentation on a podcast can be a really good way for you and your business to get exposure. And so the first thing I suggest that you do is to find podcasts that are relevant for you and your audience. To find podcasts that have listeners that are your ideal audience, that‘s the first thing. And then the second thing, make sure you research them a little bit and listen to some of their shows and make sure that you can add value; it‘s all about adding value. And then the third thing is you then approach these podcasts with an idea. So when you approach a podcaster you don‘t want to be lame and just say, “Hey I‘m amazing, and I think you should feature me.” What I suggest you do is make sure you are prepared, you‘ve listened to some of their shows and then you lead with sharing something either insightful, that is helpful for them, or maybe you give them a little bit of a compliment on something that you have learned on their show, and then you let them know that you would be happy to come on their show with your ideas. And you list what you could talk about so that it‘s very valuable. Too many podcasters including ourselves here at Basic Bananas, often get approached for our show by people, and their approach is not very good. And it‘s often just talking about themselves. So when you approach podcasters to make sure you give it value, you say something nice about them, maybe have some insights to share and then let them know that you would be happy to come on the show and here are the reasons why, and the topics that you can discuss that will be valuable for their audience. And the more, of course, you get to practice in this, the more you‘ll get accepted, and then just make sure that when you do get accepted, to be on the show, that you give it your all. You give your best value, and the word will spread. Once you‘ve done a few shows, it‘s very likely you‘ll be invited to be featured on more shows and it can be very beneficial to gain more exposure and to share your expertise to help people with your knowledge. That‘s it for today, I‘ll come back with some more tips later. Goodbye for now!
