Franziska: “Let’s first find out if we are the right fit.” Those are such powerful words when it comes to marketing and sales communication. And as you know, marketing is all about communication and it’s really important that we think about the words that we use because some words that we use in our marketing communication will get you a positive action or reaction, and some—not so much. And just today, this morning I was working with one of our Clever Bunch groups and one of our members, Lisa, check her out. Lisa from Baby Blanks. Amazing business owner. And she was sharing how in one of her~ we were working on our email sequences, on our funnels, our different marketing funnels and there are four that every business absolutely needs and in one of them, we talked about communication and Lisa shared that in one of her emails, when she gets an enquiry, she asks first, let’s first find out if we are the right fit. So rather than sending a message and listing all the reasons why they should choose her business, she first says, let’s first find out if we’re the right fit. And that is so much more powerful because you’re showing your potential customer that you will absolutely make sure that you can help them. And you’re not making it all about you. What most businesses do is they make it all about them. They list all the ten~ Here are ten reasons why you should work with us. Well, what if we’re not the right fit? So just starting with something like that, hey, let’s connect and first have a discussion to make sure we’re the right fit or to make sure we can help you is so much more powerful. And it’s going from pushy~ pushing something onto a new client or new customer, to pulling away a little bit. And of course, what happens when you pull away, people want to come. So, really important to consider that this is just one such example and we’ll have lots more examples. This one example is definitely super useful for consultants, coaches, anyone who works with people, and highly recommend testing this way of communicating. And also in general, test all your communication and go through anything that you have written in your email funnels, anywhere, and think about whether this is going to trigger a positive action or whether you’re being too pushy. So again, let’s first find out if we’re the right fit. It’s a really great way to start a relationship with a future client. I hope you find this amazing, useful, valuable. If you do, please feel free to share it with any of your business colleagues, business friends. And as always, thank you so much for tuning in, and we will see you next time.
