Franziska: Hi there, and welcome back! It is Monday morning here and I felt like giving you a little bit of a different kind of Basic Bananas TV tip here today. It is Monday, so a great time and a great way to start the week with a little bit of motivation and so what I’d like to share with you is that we have noticed since last year going through the pandemic: two types of business owners. Here in our community, people, we work with and just observing. And the first type of business owner is the one that has been~especially last year waiting a little bit for things to change, and maybe even putting the head in the sand a little bit in their business, and hoping for “the world” and the way that we buy, and the way that we have money available will go back again to “normal,” to pre-pandemic and they’ve just been waiting which has had an impact on their businesses. The second type of business owner which I hope that you fall under or if not yet, then maybe this is the time that you will do that—it’s the type of business owner that saw what’s coming; they didn’t wait for things to go back to “normal” again and they are the type of business owner that have really taken almost advantage of this pandemic in terms of accelerating change and really that’s what this pandemic has done for a lot of us in business, in life is accelerated the things that we may have wanted to do eventually anyway but we were now forced to do. Whether that is to sell your products and services more online whether it is to change the way that you interact with people a lot of the things that you probably would have put off have been accelerated and a lot of these second type of businesses or business owners that have really used this time to change their business model they are now way ahead of everyone else that hasn’t accelerated change and the other type of business owner, the one that has been waiting, and maybe still waiting they’re lagging behind so maybe think for you in your business, it doesn’t~ you know, whether you’re the first type or second type you can always become the type that will use this time to accelerate change and learn and you know I’ve given you examples of business owners that were completely reliant on things like markets for example and events and because of the pandemic they couldn’t do that anymore so what they did instead is change the business model, learn how to sell online, for example; learn how to do social media advertising, learn different marketing strategies that they normally didn’t really have to do so much and now they do and it wasn’t of course an easy journey for some.. for most people but it was a worthwhile one and now we’re seeing a lot of our members especially that are doing better than ever before despite the current times that we live in and so it’s more of an invitation today for you to maybe not wait but maybe change what you can change and take control of what you can take control of in your business right now to accelerate change and to be ahead of everyone else. So that’s it for today’s tip. I hope you enjoyed a quick little sort of mini-rant, I guess, and I hope it inspires you to take action and not to just sit back and wait for things to change again because we don’t know what’s coming at us but as long as you’re prepared and you use this time to to do things better in your business you will be fine. That’s it. See you next time. Bye for now!
