It’s now two months since the Experience Summit 2015. We’re left with the fond memories of our annual gathering which celebrates entrepreneurship at the stunning Manly Yacht Club.
Over two days, small business owners and entrepreneurs got together to learn about the latest business growth strategies, mindfulness, productivity and how to juggle (literally!). In its second year, The Experience Summit is getting better and better and we had so much fun hosting this inspiring event.
Day 1 kicked off with High Performance Leadership guru Colin Boyd sharing some amazing productivity hacks with our guests. One of the strategies Colin pointed out was “prioritise prioritising”. He explains “Work out the five things you need to get done today, if you get them done, you know you’ve had an effective day.” We have started implementing this within our team and it works!
From productivity we then moved on to another essential part of running a business successfully. Founder of SuperFastBusiness James Schramko gave us the lay down on how to attract a never-ending stream of clients with content marketing. It all comes down to creating powerful content which builds trust.
Co-founder of Basic Bananas Franziska shared some innovative thoughts on perception and some of our Clever Bunch members let us in on their personal success strategies. Of course, it wouldn’t be Basic Bananas if we sat in a chair all day. The fabulous Marina Iskhakova from Orange Cultures took us on an adventure all around Manly! The ultimate team challenge was not just a lot of fun, but also made our guests work on their team skills. Everyone went real bananas, selling our favourite fruit on the street, building sand bananas and hugging strangers. An unforgettable experience!
The night was all about networking, catching up, sharing delicious food and wine and listening to music. Manly even surprised us with a special gift and lit up the sky with a spectacular thunderstorm.
There’s no better way to start the day than with a surf, so on Day 2 Christo and the Basic Bananas team took our entrepreneurs to famous Manly Beach to take off on their first wave. We were very impressed by the skills of some of our guests and captured some awesome snaps of people surfing (check out all our awesome photos here)
Back at the Manly Yacht Club we started the second part of the event refreshed and with a clear mind. And what a day it was! Glen Carlson, founder of Key Person of Influence let us in on the secrets of how to create an incredibly sexy elevator spiel, Yours Socially broke down the jungle of social media madness for us, Heidi Alexandra Pollard showed how to lead with love and bring out the great in people, and business coach Susanne King explained how being happy and having fun can increase your productivity.
Oh, and we also juggled and meditated, making this an experience for entrepreneurs like no other.
We would love to say thank you to everyone who made The Experience Summit 2015 such an inspiring, productive and fun event and we can’t wait to see you again next year. You can also be a super early bird and book your tickets for 2016 here.
