[CHRISTO]: Hey there! In this video tip, I want to share ways to reduce stress so you can have a better life. So we’re going to go around the team here at Basic Bananas headquarters, and we’re going to hear from them… and here we have Liesl.
[LIESL]: Hello! How do I de-stress? As long as the sun’s out, go into my garden, my zen zone, it’s me and my plants, if that doesn’t work because it’s raining, just head up and sit on the couch with a good book, and ignore everyone else.
[CHRISTO]: Yay! Thank you. Tip to reduce stress…
[TOM]: Exercise is definitely my tip. Get to the gym, and do some exercise.
[CHRISTO]: Awesome thank you
[JULIA]: Two tips actually, breathing deep, three deep breaths usually help me. And the other thing is laughing; if you laugh through stressful moments, they can’t be stressful anymore.
[CHRISTO]: Yay! Dogs are partying…
[TOM]: Acquire a Kelpie.
[CHRISTO]: Yeah!
[FRANZISKA]: Yeah, actually one of my tips is to take one of these kelpies for a walk, and also going for a quick surf, or even just a quick jump in the ocean.
[CHRISTO]: Yes, awesome thank you! And my own little tip is just to repeat a few things you’re grateful for. So stop, have a couple of deep breaths and say three things that you are grateful for, even if you’re just saying it inside your head because you don’t want to sound like a weirdo if there’s a lot of people around you; just repeat them to yourself inside your head: three things you’re grateful for, take a moment and really feel grateful for them, not just blurt them out.
